Rare lithgraph showing a charge against the 19th century french Salon Jury represented as donkeys and evoking the mandarinate of the official painters of the time, such as : Delaroche, Ary Scheffer, Brascassat, Granet....the bottom caption ending by : "Portraits of chinese academicians, of the institute of Pékin, Nankin and all the places."
