Pierre Auguste COT (1837, Bédarieux - 1883, Paris) :
He first studied at the Toulouse School of Fine Arts, then came in Paris. Pupil of Coigniet, Cabanel, Bouguereau and Duret (sculptor). He first exhibited his works at the Salon de Paris in 1863.
