Andrejew (also written Andreïev), architect, theatre and cinema designer, became internationally known when he created the set of two important German movies during the late 1920s : Loulou and L'Opéra de quat'sous, both by G.W. Pabst. Andrejew also created the set for Raskolnikov, by Robert Wiene. From 1933, he settled in Paris and worked for some of the most important French directors.
We propose you a selection of original works of art on paper (gouache, ink, charcoal), plans for 1930s theatre and cinema sceneries.
